    Client: The Kenya Coffee Traders Association (KCTA)

    The purpose of this assignment is to disseminate information to the coffee sector through The Coffee Quarterly Newsletter. The Newsletter is a non profit newsletter whose main aim is to provide information to farmers and other stakeholder and his distributed free of charge to all cooperatives. MSS has been tasked with:
    Design & layout
    Editing & Printing
    Marketing & Distribution (shared responsibility with CRF & KCTA)
    Adherence to the quarterly publication dates which are: March, June, September and December.

    Project 2

    Client: The Kenya Agricultural Productivity Project (KAPP )

    The Kenya Agricultural Productivity Project (KAPP) is a Government of Kenya, World Bank supported multi-sectoral and multi-institutional project, with the long-term objective of increasing agricultural productivity. The project contributes to the Government’s Strategy of Revitalizing Agriculture (SRA) whose objective is “to provide a policy and institutional environment that is conducive to increasing agricultural productivity, promoting investments, encouraging private sector involvement in agricultural enterprises and agribusiness.”

    Innovation and Technology Audit of Research Outputs from the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI)

    Nyokabi Njuguna’s role in the assignment
    Lead in the stakeholders workshop meant to generate the constraints in the technology development to consumption value chain; development of questionnaires for collection of information from the stakeholders and researchers. She will also participate in market intelligence work and direct marketing of technologies to the private sector.

    Sustainable market access tools for dry lands commodities: a case of wooden handicrafts in Kenya.

    Nyokabi Njuguna’s role in the assignment
    Ms. Nyokabi is a commercial handicrafts expert having supplied the World Duty Free UK and the UN gift shop Nairobi among others. She has over 13 years of commercial entrepreneurship in marketing, situational analysis, networking and Public Private Partnerships. Ms Nyokabi is trained in International Trade by the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI) the Netherlands and on this project she will be giving leadership on establishing markets for the wooden handicrafts as well as advising on product design and development and global trends on the same.

    Client/Sponsor: Centre for the Development of Enterprise (CDE)

    Beneficiary: Chef’s Choice Ltd

    MSS has been contracted by CDE to provide marketing assistance to Chef’s Choice Industries Ltd. This will be by way of conducting a review of the existing sales and marketing strategy, and subsequently develop a framework for delivering sales strategies which help deliver and exceed sales revenues both in the short, medium and long term.
